Fees for organizers selling on UNITIC
Buyers pay exactly the ticket price you display. The organizer pays a 5% platform fee plus the payment gateway (~2%). That’s it.
UNITIC is a campus event ticketing platform for Nigerian student organizers. Create an event, sell tickets online with guest checkout, check guests in with scan-once QR at the gate, and withdraw ticket money to a Nigerian bank — so you are not running sales on WhatsApp alerts, screenshots, or paper lists.

What the buyer pays
The buyer pays only the price shown at checkout. There is no extra fee added to the buyer’s total at payment.
What the organizer receives
After both fees are taken from the organizer’s pool, the remaining amount is what the organizer can withdraw to a Nigerian bank account.
Example: for a ₦2,000 ticket, the organizer receives approximately ₦1,860 (after a ₦100 platform fee and ~₦40 gateway fee).
Payouts
- Withdraw to a Nigerian bank account.
- Minimum withdrawal amount is ₦1,000.
- Payouts follow a T+1 schedule (after a withdrawal request is approved, funds typically arrive within 1 business day).
Why UNITIC instead of WhatsApp?
- Buyers don’t need to send proofs to a group chat; they pay online and receive a QR ticket automatically.
- Each QR is unique and usable once — no forwarded screenshots, no duplicate entries.
